The web Directory of Information Materials for People Affected by Cancer is regularly updated and currently has details of over 1,900 booklets, leaflets, books and audiovisual materials for people affected by cancer. Most have been published in the last five years but we have included some older ones that are still useful.
Prostate Cancer UK
Z-card with information from the booklet 'Know your prostate. A guide to common prostate problems'. It describes the prostate gland, the changes to look out for, benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis and prostate cancer (what it is, the symptoms and the risk factors).
Myeloma UK
This factsheet has information about osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), a rare condition that can occur during long-term treatment of myeloma with bisphosphonates.It describes bisphosphonates, why they are linked to ONJ, the risk factors for ONJ, its symptoms, and how it is treated and managed.
