Graft versus host disease (GvHD) is a complication of donor (allogeneic) stem cell transplantation (SCT), in which the cells from the stem cell donor (graft) react to the cells in the patient (host). This factsheet has been written to help you to understand how GvHD may affect you/your child and what possible treatments there are.
