The death of a brother or sister is likely to be one of the most difficult things that’s ever happened to you. It may even feel like nobody understands what you’re going through, but the fact is help is always at hand. CLIC Sargent has worked closely with young people who have lost a sibling to put together this booklet. It suggests foods to eat to maintain a healthy diet, foods to avoid, nourishing and supplementary drinks, and high-energy foods. It also has advice for times when eating is difficult, as a result, for example, of fatigue, nausea, sore mouth, diarrhoea, or constipation. Two days after celebrating her 50th birthday, Juliette Chan had an unexpected birthday present: bowel cancer.
